1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and SPORTCONNECT PY E.A.S., a company incorporated in Paraguay ("SportConnect", "we", "us", or "our"), and govern your access to and use of the SportConnect website, web application, and mobile apps (together, the "Platform").

By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. What SportConnect Does

SportConnect is a marketplace that connects amateur and professional players with padel and tennis clubs, independent coaches, and tournaments. Through the Platform you can:

Discover and book courts at partner clubs across Paraguay.
Book lessons with independent coaches or coaches affiliated with a club.
Register for tournaments, invite partners, and follow live brackets and rankings.
Manage your club, courts, pricing, bookings, and staff (if you are a club owner).
Offer coaching services, set your availability and rates, and grow your student base (if you are a coach).

3. Your Account

To use most features you will need to create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when registering.
Keep your profile, payment details, and contact information current.
Keep your password and access credentials confidential and secure.
Notify us immediately at contact@sportconnect.me if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
Take full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make payments on the Platform. Users between 13 and 17 may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf.

4. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

When you book a court, a lesson, or a tournament entry through SportConnect:

Prices, durations, and conditions are set by each club, coach, or tournament organizer, and are displayed before you confirm your booking.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By paying, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the full amount shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes and service fees.
Each venue or coach sets its own cancellation and no-show policy, which is shown at the time of booking and forms part of your agreement with them.
Refunds, when applicable, are issued according to the cancellation policy of the relevant venue, coach, or tournament. Payment processing fees may be non-refundable.
You are responsible for showing up on time, or cancelling within the allowed window. Repeated no-shows or abusive cancellations may result in restrictions on your account.

SportConnect acts as an intermediary between players and clubs, coaches, and tournament organizers. The underlying service (the court, the lesson, or the tournament) is provided directly by them, and any related contract is concluded directly between you and that provider. We are not a party to that contract, although we can help mediate reasonable disputes.

5. Obligations of Clubs, Coaches, and Organizers

If you publish a club, coaching services, or a tournament on SportConnect, you agree to:

Keep your listings, photos, prices, schedules, and availability accurate and up to date.
Honor all confirmed bookings and tournament registrations in accordance with the terms you have published.
Hold all licenses, permits, insurance, and qualifications required by law to operate your business and provide your services.
Comply with all applicable Paraguayan laws, including consumer protection, tax, labor, and health and safety regulations.
Respond in good faith and within a reasonable timeframe to requests from players, and treat all users with respect and professionalism.

6. Prohibited Conduct

To keep SportConnect safe, fair, and enjoyable for everyone, you agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or defame other users, clubs, coaches, or staff.
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or role.
Attempt to disrupt, damage, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its infrastructure.
Access accounts, data, or content that do not belong to you, or bypass any access or security measures.
Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to extract data from the Platform without our prior written consent.
Publish content, reviews, or listings that are false, misleading, offensive, or that infringe the rights of others.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, graphics, logos, trademarks, text, and data compilations, is owned by SPORTCONNECT PY E.A.S. or its licensors, and is protected by Paraguayan and international intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Platform strictly for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent. Content that you upload (photos, descriptions, reviews) remains yours, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and promote it on the Platform and in related marketing materials.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to keep it reliable, SportConnect does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of content published by clubs, coaches, or other users.

Because clubs, coaches, and tournament organizers are independent providers, the quality and safety of the court, lesson, or event are their responsibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportConnect will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you have paid to us for the relevant service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or changes in the way we operate. The date at the top of this page indicates when the current version was published.

Where changes are material, we will notify you in advance through the app or by email. If you continue using SportConnect after the updated Terms take effect, you accept the new version. If you do not agree, you may close your account at any time.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Platform will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the city of Asunción, Paraguay, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules provide otherwise.
