Terms of Service

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and SPORTCONNECT PY E.A.S., a company incorporated in Paraguay ("SportConnect", "we", "us", or "our"), and govern your access to and use of the SportConnect website, web application, and mobile apps (together, the "Platform").

By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. What SportConnect Does

SportConnect connects players with padel and tennis coaches and academies in Paraguay. Public booking is for coaching sessions; standalone court reservations are not currently offered. Through the Platform you can:

• Discover coaches and the clubs where they teach. SportConnect manages the public venue listings.
• Book coaching sessions and use lesson packs where offered by a coach or academy.
• Register for tournaments, invite partners, and follow live brackets and rankings.
• Manage coaching calendars, students, lesson packs, and bookings as a coach or authorized academy team member.
• Create a private ranking, invite players, and record match results.

3. Your Account

To use most features you will need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when registering.
• Keep your profile, payment details, and contact information current.
• Keep your sign-in codes and the credentials for your sign-in account confidential and secure.
• Notify us immediately at contact@sportconnect.me if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
• Take full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make payments on the Platform. Users between 13 and 17 may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf.

4. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

When you book a coaching session, use a lesson pack, or register for a tournament through SportConnect:

• The coach, academy, or tournament organizer sets the service price, duration, location, and conditions. Check the details presented before confirming, including whether any venue charge is included.
• Follow the payment instructions shown for the service you choose. Where online payment is offered, the amount and available payment method are shown before confirmation.
• The coach, academy, or organizer sets the cancellation and no-show conditions for the service. Review them before confirming your booking.
• Any refund or lesson credit depends on the conditions of the booked service and applicable consumer rights. Contact the coach or academy about changes to a lesson or pack.
• You are responsible for showing up on time, or cancelling within the allowed window. Repeated no-shows or abusive cancellations may result in restrictions on your account.

SportConnect provides the platform for finding and organizing coaching. Lessons are delivered by the coach or academy identified in the booking. A listed club identifies a training location and does not by itself represent a standalone court booking or a booking confirmation. Existing club management tools do not create a public court reservation service.

5. Responsibilities of Coaches, Academies, and Organizers

If you offer coaching services, manage an academy, or organize a tournament on SportConnect, you agree to:

• Keep profiles, prices, schedules, training locations, availability, and lesson-pack conditions accurate. Only manage coaches and students you are authorized to manage.
• Honor all confirmed bookings and tournament registrations in accordance with the terms you have published.
• Hold all licenses, permits, insurance, and qualifications required by law to operate your business and provide your services.
• Comply with all applicable Paraguayan laws, including consumer protection, tax, labor, and health and safety regulations.
• Respond in good faith and within a reasonable timeframe to requests from players, and treat all users with respect and professionalism.

6. Prohibited Conduct

To keep SportConnect safe, fair, and enjoyable for everyone, you agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or defame other users, clubs, coaches, or staff.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or role.
• Attempt to disrupt, damage, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its infrastructure.
• Access accounts, data, or content that do not belong to you, or bypass any access or security measures.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to extract data from the Platform without our prior written consent.
• Publish content, reviews, or listings that are false, misleading, offensive, or that infringe the rights of others.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, graphics, logos, trademarks, text, and data compilations, is owned by SPORTCONNECT PY E.A.S. or its licensors, and is protected by Paraguayan and international intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Platform strictly for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent. Content that you upload (photos, descriptions, reviews) remains yours, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and promote it on the Platform and in related marketing materials.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to keep it reliable, SportConnect does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of content published by coaches, academies, or other users.

Coaches, academies, and tournament organizers are responsible for the quality and safety of the lessons or events they provide. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportConnect will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you have paid to us for the relevant service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or changes in the way we operate. The date at the top of this page indicates when the current version was published.

Where changes are material, we will notify you in advance through the app or by email. If you continue using SportConnect after the updated Terms take effect, you accept the new version. If you do not agree, you may close your account at any time.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Platform will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the city of Asunción, Paraguay, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules provide otherwise.
